3 p.m. UPDATE Wednesday, January 8 Good afternoon! After a briefing today with the National Weather Service and Bossier Parish emergency agencies, Bossier Schools will be open Thursday, January 9. However, the YEP program will be canceled and all extracurricular and after-school activities will be postponed until a later time. We will continue to carefully monitor the forecast and provide an update at 4 p.m. Thursday regarding school operations on Friday. Bossier High Homecoming Tailgate Expectations Oct. 25, 2024 Tailgate- 5:30-6:30 Game Time is 7:00 Bossier High vs Minden High Tailgating will take place inside Bossier Memorial Stadium. There will be no tailgating in the parking lot at BHS. There will only be 100 spots available. Armbands to enter the tailgate must be received 24 hours prior to the event and can be acquired from Mrs. Tugwell, Principal. A plate dinner including a drink will be sold inside the tailgating area. (cost is $10) Requirements for entry into the tailgate and the game are as follows: $10 game fee (purchased prior to entering the stadium) Armband is required for entry into the tailgate area (East side grass area) All spectators/tailgaters are required to enter through metal detectors No outside food or drink allowed No alcohol or illegal drugs allowed All normal game rules apply to tailgate: No bags of any kind allowed inside stadium No weapons of any kind allowed Spectators/Tailgaters are not permitted to exit the stadium for any reason unless they are leaving. If they choose to leave and return they will be required to pay the ticket price again and re-enter through the metal detectors. Spectators/Tailgaters under the influence of any substance will not be allowed entry. Tailgaters will be ushered to the home side of the stadium around 6:45 to prepare for kick off. Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
